Swim Run is one of the most challenging events to photograph, taking place across Jersey’s super rugged coastline. Combining open-water swimming with trail running, the event moves between exposed beaches, rocky paths and steep coastal terrain.

The constantly changing environment presents a unique set of challenges, from navigating difficult terrain to working with shifting light and unpredictable conditions.

The aim was to capture the intensity of the race alongside the scale and character of the coastline, documenting both the athletes’ efforts and the landscape that makes the event so distinctive.
